JJEP is turning five! Let’s celebrate!
|
|
YOU ARE INVITED TO HELP CELEBRATE FIVE YEARS OF LEARNING AND GROWING TOGETHER
What better way to celebrate JJEP’s 5th Anniversary than to work together to create a one-of-a-kind art project that represents all that we have accomplished and learned over the last few years.
We are very excited to announce that JJEP has commissioned Pittsburgh’s own, renowned mosaic glass artist, Daviea Davis, to create a work of art inspired by the JJEP stories and connections your children have made throughout the years. You may have seen Daviea’s amazing pillars at Phipps Conservatory (shown above). Now, JJEP will have two of our own; One for each congregation to permanently display.
Here’s how it will work:
Not only will both Rodef Shalom and Beth Shalom have a beautiful pillar installed in their respective synagogues for all to enjoy, but every JJEP student will have an integral part in the creation of those pillars.
We would love your help to bring this project to life!
We are asking for a donation of $18 (Chai!) from each of our JJEP families. Every child will participate regardless, but your donation will make our project all the more successful. There are two ways you can contribute: 1. Click on the Contribute Here button at the bottom of this page. Thank you in advance for your support; we’ll keep you posted as this creative process unfolds!
