What We Do

The Joint Jewish Education Program (JJEP) is a collaborative effort between Congregation Beth Shalom and Rodef Shalom Congregation, and is also open to the community.


The Joint Jewish Education Program (JJEP) is a multi-denominational Jewish complementary school for students in grades K-7. The mission of JJEP is to provide innovative, experiential learning that will inspire and prepare students to engage meaningfully in Jewish life.

When does JJEP meet?

All K through 7th grade JJEP students meets on Sunday mornings from 9:30 to 12:00 at Rodef Shalom Congregation for Religious School. 

We offer four different Hebrew options for JJEP participants beginning in 2nd grade.  

  • Family Hebrew, Sundays at Rodef Shalom, 8:25am to 9:25am

  • Conversational Hebrew, Tuesdays & Thursdays at Beth Shalom, 4:15pm to 6:15pm

  • Liturgical Hebrew, Wednesdays at Rodef Shalom, 4:30pm to 6:30pm

  • Online Hebrew
